Accommodations and Inventory Usage Guidelines

Our accommodations come furnished, with a standard inventory for each property type. While there may be slight variations between rooms, studios, and room types, you can find the general room inventory here.

Use of Inventory:

• Please treat your room and its interior with respect. You may be charged for serious damages to the room and/or inventory.
• In many of our rooms the inventory is not new, showing some wear and tear. However, if the inventory is significantly deteriorated, please fill out the form.
   

Use of Walls, Doors, and Ceiling:

• Do not damage walls, doors, or ceilings. Avoid using tape, skewers, drilling machines, or anything that could cause damage.
• Some rooms have a special poster bar for pinning photos or posters.
   

Checking Inventory:

• Check the inventory within two weeks of arrival based on the inventory list. Use the provided form for reporting missing items or concerns. If you notice any issues at the beginning of your lease, please report them within the first week of your stay through the app under "Arrival information - Your room upon arrival."
   

Adding Your Own Inventory in Your Room:

• You can add small items like lamps, plants, or a rug. However, return the property to its original state at the end of your stay. 
• Large items like extra beds or couches are not allowed.
   

Inventory Insurance (Home Insurance):

• We recommend insurance for personal possessions. Home insurance covering alternative housing costs in emergencies, such as fires, is also advisable.
• Lieven De Key's provided furniture and standard room inventory are already insured.
   

Adding Your Own Inventory in Common Areas:

• Unfortunately, adding personal items to common areas is not allowed. This is due to hygiene concerns, as items taken off the street may introduce vermin like bed bugs.
   

Ensure that everything you add to or hang in the room is removed before leaving. Please refrain from causing any damage to the walls or furniture by hanging or attaching items.

Please be aware that all damages will incur charges. Your cooperation in maintaining the room's condition is appreciated.
