Installations

Gasless

The Noorderkwartier building is gas-free.
Hot water supply and heating comes into the house via 'city heat'. You pay an advance amount per month to De Key for this. De Key checks the consumption every year and settles the bill based on the actual costs. You control the heat in your home with a room thermostat. Once a year, the filter of your heating is replaced. De Key contracts this out to an installation company.
There is a connection for an electric hob with a normal socket (no perilex).

Cold water

For the supply of water, you conclude your own contract with Waternet. You read the water consumption from the consumption meter in the house.

Solar panels and electricity

There are solar panels on the roof of Noorderkwartier. The electricity generated is used for general facilities such as lighting and the lift. This benefits you as a resident, as you pay less for electricity for common areas.
For the electricity in your home, you have to sign a contract with an energy supplier yourself.
Watch an instructional video on your group box below!

Ventilation

Your home has an installation for mechanical ventilation. Ventilating yourself remains necessary.
An extractor hood of the brand Atag has been installed in your home. This is a recirculation hood, at least once a year, you as a resident should replace the carbon filter.
