Lockout service is available outside office hours, 7 days a week.

After calling them, services fees are €67.00 (extra surcharge possible, see below).
Lieven de Key (including caretakers and RA’s) cannot help you with a lock out.
VMB does not provide new keys, they can only give access to your room. For the replacement keys (mailbox), you can contact your caretaker

Please inform the Lock Out Service you have a Keyless room!

The VMB Lockout service is available when:

You are the tenant of the room/studio (BE AWARE: the tenant must be present in person!).
You are at your building
You can show an official ID*
You can e-mail a copy of your tenancy agreement to VMB Lock out service.
You are willing to pay the cost (minimum amount €67.00)**

How to use the lockout service?

STEP 1: Call VMB Lock out service (see call button below)

Please give your full name, address, date of birth and telephone number and inform VMB about the lock out.
If you're calling with another phone number because you left yours in the room, please provide them with the phone number you're calling from as well!

STEP 2: E-mail your tenancy agreement to VMB Lock out service (see form below)

STEP 3: VMB will make an appointment with you (usually within 90 minutes).

Once VMB arrives, you (the tenant) must provide an ID.* After the ID check, VMB will let you in.
If VMB can't find you, they might try calling your cell phone. We therefore recommend you inform them of a phone number you can be reached on at that moment.

* Official ID:

Passport or a European ID card.
Left your ID in the room? VMB will ask a few questions to check the information on your tenancy agreement (you will still have to show ID after accessing your room).

** Payment:

The €67.00 fee is non-negotiable and non-adjustable. If you are not present at the agreed time, the costs can be higher based on the hourly rate of €67.00.
The lock out fee must be paid to Lieven De Key: we will send you payment link via e-mail a few days later. The lockout service must be paid within 48 hours.
A payment reminder will cost an additional €10.00 per reminder.
