The 8 student caretakers (SC's) are there to improve the safety, hygiene and residential quality standards in the building. In order to succeed they need your cooperation.
The core tasks of the student caretaker (SC) are:
- Safety: check on escape routes, hallways and emergency exits. When necessary the SC will remove obstacles themselves or ask the residents to do so.
- Looking after the hygiene in the buildings.
- Inspecting the common areas on a regular base. When the SC notices irregularities they will approach the residents and ask them to correct the unwanted situation.
They also manage the Facebook group, there they post about practical things like "what to do in case of fire" or announcements made by De Key. Become a member of their Facebook group to stay up to date.
