There is WiFi in the entire building. 

There are two WiFi networks you can access all through Fraijlemaborg: 

1. DeKey-Fraijlemaborg - access with password i3xHp*ag
2. Eduroam - access with your log in details of the University is required.

Your room also has a wired internet connection. Please bring/buy your own write for the first few weeks. Utelisys might need to make arrangements in your room to activate it. If so, an appointment will be made in advance. 

[Please be aware: never let a unknown person in without asking for their (work) ID for a quick identification. And make sure to not let your room unattended.]

In order to connect to the wired internet, follow these steps:

1. Connect your computer with an UTP network cable to the wall outlet in your room.
2. Boot your computer and go to www.google.com
3. Read the prompted information, agree to the rules of engagement.
4. Fill out the requested information. (you need your tenancy agreement number)
5. Reboot your computer and you are ready to go.

To connect to Eduroam:

• Many students might already have an Eduroam account and will automatically connect.
• Don’t have an account yet? Create an Eduroam account:
• Go to this url: https://cloud.securew2.com/public/40655/uva-wireless-2016/
• Download and run the program.
• UvA students: Log in to your UvA-ID and complete the installation; other universities: ask your university for Eduroam instructions.
