Lieven de Key facilitates the personal development of residents at Noorderkwartier. Of course, this only works with commitment from residents!

• At North Quarter, it's all about studying. You live in a community with other students pursuing a variety of studies. De Key is exploring the possibility of creating communal study areas. Ziggo provides a good wifi connection, also in the communal areas.
• In Noorderkwartier, you can build your social network. There are various places to meet other residents, for example in the communal courtyard garden, the wide galleries and the glass 'washhouse'.
• Want to get involved in the community? You can! De Key supports and facilitates the formation of a residents' association. This residents' association can organise activities for residents and act as a sounding board for De Key. Each resident pays €2.50 a month so that there is a budget for resident activities. Committees may arise from the residents' association, such as a greenery committee for the courtyard or an activities committee. • You can work as a student caretaker. You will then support De Key's caretaker in keeping the residential building clean, tidy and safe. In return, you will receive a rent reduction.
• In the kitchen garden, you can work on your gardening skills.
• In Noorderkwartier, young people live with social support. With help from the care institution involved, they work on their personal development.
