Choose your own electricity supplier
Your home has its own meter that measures how much electricity you use. So you only pay for your own use. You can choose your own supplier and pay the bill directly to that supplier.

Buying an electric (induction) hob
There is no gas in the house. So you need an electric (induction) hob. There is a cable grommet in the kitchen worktop. This allows you to take the power cable from the hob to the socket. There are two sockets in the base cabinet. A perilex socket for the hob and a normal socket or a (combi) microwave oven that can be placed in the base cabinet. The perilex socket for the hob can have a maximum power of 7400W.

Meter box
Switching electricity on and off with the distribution board
Each house has its own group box in the meter cupboard in the corridor. You open the cupboard with your front door key. Read more about this in the housing guide. Note! There are two meter boxes with your house number. One for you and one for Eteck. Your key will only fit your own meter box. It starts with 'M' followed by your house number.
